Martin Hansen was appointed Deputy Director General of the Danish Energy Agency in 2015 and oversees Centre for Supply, Centre for Risk Preparedness and Centre for Global Cooperation.

Martin Hansen has extensive experience from working with climate, environment, energy and supply in both national and international contexts. Martin Hansen has solid management experience from various positions in the Ministry of Energy, Supply and Climate.

Martin Hansen holds a master’s degree in Environmental and Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
