Alp Gunsever has a mechanical engineering background with a focus on wind turbine technology from Denmark Technical University. After his graduation, He had the chance to work in offshore tender and construction teams of Siemens Wind Power before he made a switch to Vattenfall to work installation of Sandbank, Dan Tysk and Horns Rev 3 projects in Germany and Denmark. Afterwards, He started working for Ørsted, The Danish offshore wind developer, for feasibility of offshore wind projects also supporting tender design. Finally, He worked at Danish Energy Agency with a focus on policy and framework support for offshore wind in countries like Turkey, Brazil, Australia and finally India. Currently, He is heading the secretariat for Center of Excellence for Offshore Wind and Renewable Energy in Delhi which is a collaboration between Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of India and Danish Energy Agency.
