Mr. Mahesh Vipradas holds M Sc degree in Physics and M Tech degree in Energy Studies from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and has 27 years of experience in the field of renewable power generation. He has been involved in various types of activities from resource assessment, market studies, planning and policy and regulatory aspects of power generation. Presently as Head of the Regulatory Affairs and Power Markets, he is intensively working of policy and regulatory issues related conventional as well as renewable power like power market projections and analysis, power procurement and tariff, power evacuation arrangements. In addition to India, he has worked in policy and regulatory issues related to renewable energy in other South Asian Countries like Sri Lanka and Bhutan.

Prior to Sembcopr, he has worked in Suzlon for 9 years and in The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) for 11 years.
