Nivedh serves as Business Manager and heads the Wind Turbine Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) group of UL Solutions in Asia Pacific. He is responsible for the operation and Business development of Wind TIC business in this region. He represents UL Solutions in various IEC / IS standard working committees, Grid code working groups and industry associations.

As a renewable energy expert, he has around 15 years of experience in wind turbine type testing, type certification, wind turbine component certification, grid integration of renewable energies and grid code compliance certification according to different country grid codes and international standards.

His previous engagements include GE Power Bangalore as a senior compliance expert looking after compliance requirements for global market access and National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) Chennai, India, as a senior associate in the Standards and Certifications Unit. 

Nivedh holds a master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He also published several technical papers and articles in the areas of repowering of wind farms, grid code compliance measurements and certifications, wind turbine inspection techniques, power curve warranty verification of wind turbines, etc.
