Gopan is the Country Head -Product & International Solutions at Envision Energy-Bangalore for last 5 years. He has over 28+ years of experience in Engineering/Technology & Research, in various domains, such as, Wind Turbine Technology for last 16 years  and prior Aero-engine & Heavy Engineering equipment’s.

His article on advancement in wind Turbine technology published and a regular distinguished speaker at several national & international conferences on wind Turbine Technology. He has experience in heading R&D Centre, setting-up of new independent functional depts., Centre of Excellence depts.,  product development & management , deploy “best in class” processes, lean practices and innovation culture.

Gopan has held various important positions in past and his previous responsibilities includes, Director -Product Integration at Vestas Technology R&D -Chennai, Head of Engineering for Gamesa -Chennai and Head of R&D Centre for Senvion-Bangalore. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from GEC/NIT Raipur and M.Tech from MACT/NIT Bhopal.
