Vipul Tuli oversees Sembcorp’s investments and key stakeholder relationships in India and Bangladesh. He is concurrently the CEO of Sembcorp’s newly created global hydrogen business and chairman of the India business. He has been with Sembcorp since 2015 in various capacities, including as CEO and Country Head, India, and as Managing Director of Sembcorp’s renewables and thermal businesses in India. In addition, Mr. Tuli also chairs the Power Committee at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Hydrogen Working Group at the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS).

Mr. Tuli has 30 years of experience in the energy sector, spanning across upstream oil and gas, fuel management, power generation to marketing and distribution. He has also advised government institutions on issues of energy policy, organisation, industry structure, and regulations. Prior to joining Sembcorp, Mr. Tuli was a Senior Partner with McKinsey & Company where he helped to build and lead its Asian energy practice.

Mr. Tuli holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and completed his post graduate studies in business management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
